Baskets anyone?

My baskets take many forms and are made with anything flexible enough to weave. I use west coast kelp, wire, reed, bark, handmade paper,
cedar-harvested and prepared in the traditional manner, and coloured metal strips as well as plant material from my garden, iris and crocosmia leaves, grasses, and corn leaves. Having taken a course in metalsmithing recently my current enthusiasm is for copper fold formed vessels.

Hi Melainie! Thanks for sharing your wonderful creations. I especially like the cedar basket and those hot lips (copper folding)! Please keep in touch. Pierrette
