New stuff, finally

kyoko workshop 2014 (6)

finished work of all classmates

I just took a course at Maiwa with a wonderful textile artist, Kyoko Ueda, from Japan, who does fabulous sculptural works with tulle. I, who don’t sew, had a great time and will use what I learned in some new work.

I had two pieces chosen for MIXX show at ecuad this summer. My wonderful art teacher Jeanne Krabbendam curated the show of student work. It was a great show and there were many many paintings I loved.
