winter

big winter snows this last week, home bound, roads unplowed, in the studio working on a prototype for a bigger piece, not very happy with the result but through trial and error I now know how I want to proceed. I made the small encaustic pieces just for fun, using up collage papers I made in an encaustic workshop last year.

    Oh, that studio looks like such a great place to work in peace! No wonder you don’t get to the mainland often. Would love to try encaustic some time. Maybe when I come for a sleepover?!
