Just completed my installation wall piece ‘wriggle’. This will be mounted on the front wall of Mahon Hall, Salt Spring Island, for the duration of Artcraft, June 8-Sept. 16. Artcraft is celebrating 50 years this summer, the longest running craft/art exhibit in the province.

Browsing an issue of Uppercase left by Kate and spotted a familiar face along with some great shots of your studio and ongoing work. The article led me to your blog and chance to follow your artistic journey. It’s wonderful work, Melanie and you’ve been busy. It’s inspiring. Your connection to Nature shines through and there’s a lovely underlying Zen quality line throughout your work that I love. Cheers
